Banana Vessel is a one-person operation based in Canada. This page explains what information is collected when you use this site, how it is used, and what is shared with third parties.
When you place an order, the following information is collected:
Order details (name, address, email, item purchased) are stored in a private database used only to fulfill and track your order.
Your cart and theme preference are stored in your browser’s localStorage — this stays on your device and is never sent to us.
All payments are processed by Stripe. When you check out, you interact directly with Stripe’s secure payment form. Stripe collects and processes your payment information under their own privacy policy. We receive confirmation that a payment was made and the shipping details you provided — nothing else.
Your email address is used to send a single order confirmation. It is not added to any mailing list, sold, or shared with any third party outside of what is necessary to send that email (we use SendGrid for delivery).
Your name and address are shared with Canada Post solely for the purpose of generating a shipping label and delivering your order. They are not used for any other purpose.
Order records are kept for a reasonable period for accounting and charity donation reconciliation purposes, then deleted. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us.
As a Canadian resident you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To do so, contact us at the email below. We will respond within 30 days.
